WILD SKIING ONLY is a temporal transposition in which narratives from a mysterious past merge with the present day, creating a series of stories, parodies, and interwoven tales. A spaghetti western world transplanted to the remote territories of mystic mountains: the old Brigands, who roamed the peaks to evade controls on their illicit trafficking and shady dealings, through the legendary Salt Road, are reborn as modern-day skiers and nature explorers. Stories of hidden treasures, sudden apocalyptic storms that loom like divine punishment, of extreme adventures on skis, untamed nature, profound spirituality and of the tempting sirens of worldly pleasures — just as in Ulysses' odyssey. The universe of WSO, suspended between the sacred and the profane, unfolds as an odyssey in biblical key, laden with ancient symbols and myths. A world where the mountains are permeated with elemental spirits, where mortals defy death for a fistful of gold coins or a fleeting moment of glory, in the middle land, in that limbo where the soul is tested by invisible higher entities.
